RMB mobile applications

Applies to every mobile application published by RMB — Sistemas de Informação, Lda.

In short

01Who we are

RMB — Sistemas de Informação, Lda. is a Portuguese company based in Porto, working in information technology and software. It is the entity responsible for the mobile applications covered by this policy and for handling any privacy matters arising from them.

For anything concerning this policy, the contact is geral@rmb.pt.

02What this covers

This policy applies to all mobile applications published by RMB, current and future, including those distributed through Google Play. It covers the application installed on your device and its normal operation.

It does not cover third-party services you may reach from one of our applications, nor servers or systems belonging to you or to someone else that you choose to connect to. Those are governed by the policies of whoever operates them.

03Data we do not collect

Our applications do not collect, log or transmit personal data. Specifically, and without prejudice to what is stated in other sections:

RMB operates no server that receives data from the applications. This is not an internal policy that could quietly change: there is simply no destination such data could be sent to.

04Data stored on your device

To work, the applications need to store information — preferences, settings, items you created and, depending on the application, credentials for systems that are your own. That information is written exclusively to the application's local storage, on your device.

Android isolates that storage: only the application itself can reach it, and other installed applications cannot read it. None of that content is transmitted to RMB or to third parties.

Control is entirely yours. You can erase this data at any time from the Android settings, and uninstalling the application removes it from the device completely.

One important consequence: since we keep no copy of anything, we cannot recover data you lose. If the information held in one of our applications matters to you, keep your own backups.

05Android permissions

An application may ask you for permissions — access to files, to the network or to the camera, for instance. When it does, it is to carry out the function you asked for, at the moment you asked for it, and only within the device.

No granted permission is used to collect information about you or about how you use the application. You can revoke any permission in the Android settings; the feature that relied on it will stop being available, but the rest of the application keeps working.

06No advertising and no tracking

Our applications contain no advertising, no ad networks, no analytics tooling and no third-party libraries intended to measure behaviour or build user profiles.

We use no cookies or equivalent tracking technologies, and we take no part in any form of data sharing or sale for marketing purposes.

07Connections to third-party systems

Some of our applications exist to connect you to systems that are not ours — a server of yours, a service you already use, a device on your network. In those cases the communication is established directly between your device and that system.

RMB does not mediate, relay or observe that traffic. We have no access to its content, nor even any knowledge that the connection took place. Data handling on that side is the responsibility of whoever operates the system you connected to, and is governed by that party's terms and privacy policy.

08Children

Our applications are not directed at children and have no features designed for that audience. As we collect no data from anyone, we collect no data from minors either.

09Your rights under the GDPR

The General Data Protection Regulation grants you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding your personal data.

In practice, and as far as our applications are concerned, there is no data of yours on our side against which those rights could be exercised: we do not receive, store or process users' personal data. The data exists only on your device, where you already control it directly and can inspect, change or delete it whenever you wish.

If you would still like to raise a question or a complaint, write to us at geral@rmb.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), the supervisory authority in Portugal.

10Changes to this policy

If the behaviour of our applications changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated before that change reaches users, and the update date at the top of the page will reflect the revision.

We suggest consulting this page if you want to confirm the terms in force. Earlier versions are not kept publicly; if you need one, ask us.
